v0.15.3 Patch Notes:

[Highlights]

• 🌼Bug spawn rates in the Lava Caves biome have been adjusted. The spawn rate of Smoke Moths has been increased.

• 🌼For players who shovelled their Seed of Balance while it was growing (before v0.15.2), the Seed of Balance item will be floating in their house to pick up.

• Merri now sells new Cherry and Lemon Furniture sets at her Saturday Market Stall.

• New seasonal player cosmetics have been added to Louis’ Stall at the Saturday Market. Four Spring, three Winter, and two Fall cosmetics.

• 🌼Animals found from diving now appear in the almanac menu (e.g. crayfish).

[New Features]

🎮 Gameplay

• New dishes have been added to the Inn’s menu after completing the Upgrade the Inn questline: Herb Butter Pasta, Fish Tacos, Veggie Sub Sandwich, Coconut Cream Pie, Spring Galette, and Gazpacho.

• New recipes have been added to the Inn’s stock: Seafood Boil. After Inn Upgrade: Herb Butter Pasta, Fish Taco, Coconut Cream Pie, Gazpacho. 

• In both the Lava and Ruins Biomes, four additional food items can drop from chests with the perk Dungeon Delicacies active.

• With the Taste Maker perk active, chests in the Ruins Biome can drop new recipes: Spell Fruit Parfait, Pizza, Spicy Corn, and Cucumber Sandwich.

• New Ruins window decor items have been added to various Ruins Biome rooms.

  
  

💛 NPCs

• Additional NPC dialogue has been added.

  
  

🖥️ UI

• A new category has been added to the Character Customization UI: Jackets. Appropriate items have been shifted into this category.

[Updates]

🎮 Gameplay

• In the Ruins Biome, the Magic Key can now be harvested with a shovel, like any other crop.

• The Glowberry Cookies recipe can now be acquired by shipping a Glowberry. The recipe will be delivered in a letter the following day. Note: for those who have already shipped one on their save, the letter will arrive after sleeping.

  
  

✨ QOL

• The auto-stack button in Auto-Feeder UI now only transfers like-items to the auto-feeder, rather than all eligible food items.

• In the unlikely event that a Fish Bait item fails to summon a fish, the Fish Bait item will now reappear on the ground to be collected.

  
  

🎨 Art

• When fishing near rocks in the Mines, the Fishing exclamation point (!) no longer appears below the rocks.

  
  

💛 NPCs

• There is now a speakerless version of Bath text for if neither Dozy nor Juniper is present at the counter. Previously, Dozy would appear even if he was not in the Bathhouse.

• Pet beds can no longer be purchased at Merri’s stall and are now only sold by Hayden.

[Bug Fixes]

🎮 Gameplay

• 🌼In Seal Rooms, the dragon claw altars will no longer sometimes display the seal tablet translations before the player has translated the tablet.

• 🌼The Dragon-Forged Sword can no longer display a secondary infusion icon when crafted.

• The perk Sure Strike now works as intended.

• The Flying Tome can no longer rarely become invulnerable to attacks.

• Players can no longer acquire a cosmetic more than once.

• 🌼Pet Skins can no longer be acquired before purchasing the Friend-Shaped perk.

• Multiple copies of already-acquired Pet Skins no longer spawn.

  
  

✨ QOL

• Wheedle no longer sells the Bath Soap Date Inspiration item before the player has seen the Elsie Dating Tutorial.

  
  

🎨 Art & Visuals

• Lights now display properly even within shadows (e.g., fireflies in shadows).

• The colors on some Juniper sprites and portraits have been corrected.

• Adjusted Wallpaper and Flooring previews in the Crafting Menu.

  
  

💛 NPCs

• 🌼Festival Dates (Shooting Star Festival, Harvest Festival) no longer make an NPC ineligible for a Date the following weekend.

• 🌼Wheedle’s request for a Written Root no longer appears on the Request Board before the Saturday Market is upgraded.

• NPCs no longer fail to follow their routines properly after a time jump (e.g., crafting)

• 🌼A Caldarus line has been adjusted to appear correctly in a specific location.

• Caldarus’ Request for Lobster now appears only on the request board in Spring.

• The “Pause Audio on Unfocus” setting now works as intended.

• 🌼The Fishing Rod tutorial card no longer interferes with the Blacksmithing UI.

• The tile indicator for Bait no longer appears on tiles adjacent to water.
