⭐ Fields of Mistria patch v1.0.6 is here! This patch contains some bug and crash fixes. As always, thank you to everyone who reported bugs and provided feedback to us!



Patch notes will feature a 🌼 emoji whenever the change is based on community feedback and bug reporting!


v1.0.6 Patch Notes:


[Highlights]

  • 🌼 We believe we have solved the memory leak introduced in v1.0.5, but if the game has spiking memory leaks or VRAM leaks leading to instability or a crash, please send us a bug report.


  • 🌼 "Game Capture" in OBS now works again, along with Window Capture. In many modes, the in-game cursor will appear on stream but will not appear for the streamer, due to a bug in OBS. To work around this, turn off "Native Cursor" in the Graphics options in the settings menu in Fields of Mistria.


[Bug Fixes]


🎮 Gameplay

  • 🌼 The game no longer shows a black screen when returning to the main menu.


✨ QOL

  • 🌼 Removed an unattainable food item that was accidentally appearing in the Almanac.


🎨 Art & Visuals

  • 🌼 Heart barks from small animals are now visible again when they are picked up.

  • 🌼 Wedding Photos will no longer mistakenly display the player house as the background.

  • 🌼 The baby now renders at the correct depth in the cradle.

  • 🌼 Donated Seal items now display in the altar claws correctly again.

  • 🌼 Essence Stones now appear on Sprite Statues correctly again.


🔊 Sound

  • 🌼 The Mill’s exterior ambient sound no longer plays before the Mill is repaired.


🖥️ UI

  • Fullscreen and Borderless Display modes were incorrectly flipped. They now work as expected.


🌎 Localization

  • Updates to Russian and Simplified Chinese text that were intended for 1.0.5 have been properly implemented in 1.0.6.


❌ Crash Fixes

  • 🌼 Throwing a Clod Bomb no longer crashes the game.

  • 🌼 NPCs failing to pathfind to their destination no longer crashes the game.

  • 🌼 Exiting the game no longer rarely crashes the game

  • 🌼 Fixed a rare memory leak that could cause the game to crash.


[Known Issues]

  • We are aware of and continuing to investigate issues that sometimes occur with display capture in OBS and screen sharing on Discord.
