Hiring: Pixel Artist

NPC Studio is looking for a passionate and self-starting individual to join our team as a Pixel Artist on Fields of Mistria! 

 

Our ideal candidate is someone who is experienced with creating pixel art assets and animations for games and collaborates well with others. Working well with the rest of the team is a must; in turn, we are a team which will invest back into your professional development.

 

Basic Information

 

• This is a paid contractor position with a required commitment of 35-40 hours per week

• Rates starting at $30+ USD per hour dependent on experience & skill level

• We are ideally looking for a candidate who can work within US Central, Eastern, or Pacific time zones to best collaborate with other team members

 

Responsibilities

 

• Creating pixel art assets & animations in the game’s cute, chunky, simple style

• Importing and implementing assets with GameMaker and our in-house tools

• Collaboration and creative problem solving as part of the larger team

• Participating in weekly art and team meetings

Qualifications

 

• Experience in creating pixel art assets and animations for games

• Proficiency with Aseprite 

• Proficiency with GameMaker (or willingness to learn)

• Positive, professional attitude and works well with others
