⭐ Fields of Mistria patch v1.0.3 is here! This patch contains some QOL updates as well as bug and crash fixes. As always, thank you to everyone who reported bugs and provided feedback to us!



Patch notes will feature a 🌼 emoji whenever the change is based on community feedback and bug reporting!


1.0.3 Patch Notes:


[Updates]

🎮 Gameplay

  • 🌼 Festival setup days (Spring 14, Fall 7, Winter 7) can no longer be selected as Wedding Days. 

    Note: If you’ve already selected these dates, the Spring and Harvest festivals won’t initiate as intended, but will work properly in the following years.


🎨 Art

  • The Seasonal Stock icon in Shop UIs has been updated for clarity.


[Bug Fixes]

🎮 Gameplay

  • 🌼 Players can no longer hop into collisions and get stuck.

  • 🌼 Enchanterns can no longer freeze while charging.

  • 🌼 Clod projectiles caught with a Bug Net no longer invisibly persist in the air and harm the player.

  • 🌼 Gryphon Statues can no longer become immune to damage.

  • 🌼 The Deliberate Debris II Skill Perk now works on debris spawned at the top of a new season.

  • 🌼 Players now receive the letter reward for completing the Museum.

  • 🌼 Song Crystals associated with late-game content are no longer available before relevant game content has been seen.

  • 🌼 Fish Bait can now be thrown into the corners of ponds.


✨ QOL

  • 🌼 Certain achievements (e.g. True Love, Parent) now more reliably pop at the time they are achieved.

  • 🌼 Various typos have been fixed.


🎨 Art & Visuals

  • 🌼 NPCs now appear in Bathhouse Date photos as intended.

  • 🌼 Trees now fall away from the player when chopped, as intended.

  • 🌼 Lights now appear correctly during inclement weather.

  • 🌼 Fish bobber VFX have been restored.

  • 🌼 The Timbered Farmhouse variant now appears correctly

  • 🌼 Wedding Day photos no longer show rainy weather.

  • 🌼 Player now renders properly during Adeline’s 8H event.

  • 🌼 Fixed issues that may have caused incorrect colors on certain monitors.

  • 🌼 Fixed a visual glitch in March's 8 heart event.


💛 NPCs

  • 🌼 March no longer says a different NPC’s engagement congratulations line.

  • 🌼 Requests from the new Saturday Market vendors no longer appear before they arrive in town.

  • 🌼 Spouses can no longer be invited to the Harvest Festival dance when they are not on the Festival grounds in town.

  • 🌼 NPCs no longer say dialogue about the player missing the Shooting Star Festival date if they talk to them past midnight on Summer 28.


🔊 Sound

  • 🌼 The player’s chosen Bell sound now persists when saving/loading the game.


🖥️ UI

  • 🌼 Quests in the Quest UI are now consistently sorted alphanumerically.



❌ Crash Fixes

  • 🌼 Having a Spouse at a Festival no longer crashes the game.

  • 🌼 Starting a conversation while running on a Mount no longer crashes the game.

  • 🌼 Improperly formatted text markers in text no longer crashes the game.

  • 🌼 Using the elevators in the Mines no longer occasionally causes the game to crash.

  • 🌼 Placing down a Pet after carrying them into a cutscene will no longer crash the game.

  • 🌼 A crash in one of the final Mine cutscenes has been fixed. 

  • 🌼 Throwing a furniture item down after immediately placing it no longer crashes the game.

  • 🌼 Rapidly navigating the Presets menu while deleting Presets no longer crashes the game.

  • 🌼 Fighting flame sprites no longer rarely crashes the game.

  • 🌼 Holding an animal on the farm while trying to move an animal to a new Barn/Coop in the Ranching UI no longer crashes the game.

  • 🌼 Teleporting onto the farm into a cutscene no longer crashes the game.

  • 🌼 Animals setting unidentified animations no longer crashes the game.

  • 🌼 An issue with Clod projectiles no longer crashes the game.



[Known Issues]

These are some high priority issues we are aware of and actively working on.


  • We are continuing to work on additional performance and graphical optimizations. We plan to release performance-focused updates in our next patch. Thank you for your patience and understanding!


  • Localization Beta additions and and corrections are ongoing. Thank you for sharing your feedback! As a reminder, localization feedback can be sent via our localized forms.


HOT FIX:


  • 🌼 Reflecting a Rock Clod attack now does the correct amount of damage.

  • 🌼 Date photo portraits now appear correctly for all NPCs.
