Fields of Mistria’s v0.12.2 Patch is here! This patch features additional bug and crash fixes that were introduced in the First Major Update (v0.12.0), as well as improved game performance and QOL changes. As always, Thank you to everyone who’s reported bugs to us.

v0.12.2 Patch Notes:
[Highlights]
🌼 Town buildings, bushes, walls, and other assets now display correctly in Winter.
🌼 The player can no longer clip through furniture items placed near the edges of their home’s main room.
🌼 The Big Bell has been moved from the Miscellaneous section to the Functional section of the woodcrafting menu.
New Facial Hair cosmetics have been added as well as one additional Hairstyle sold at Vera’s stall.

🌼 Crown Request text has been updated to specify that to complete the request and obtain the rewards, you must talk to Adeline.
The [Cancel] and [Buy] buttons in the Home Upgrade purchase menu have been swapped to match the button orientation of other menus.

🌼 The Tier 6 Fall Chicken’s appearance has been updated, as well as the Chicken Pearl Necklace cosmetic.

🎮 Gameplay
🌼 Legendary fish can no longer be caught more than once.
🌼 Fulfilling the first requirement of a multiple requirement Crown Request no longer completes it.
🌼 Spring Festival stalls no longer disappear when exiting and reentering town.
🌼 Alpaca Wool is now an acceptable shippable item to fulfill the Animal Materials Crown Request.
🌼 Players with saves past year 1 created before the Shooting Star Festival was implemented (v0.12.0) will now receive the Shooting Star Festival furniture recipes via a letter from Josephine on the morning of the Shooting Star Festival.
The Tier 4 Farming Perk “Ornamental” is now working as intended for forageables.
Manually saving and then viewing the Shooting Star Festival stargazing cutscene no longer causes the player to wake up next to their Journal.
Fixed an issue caused by selecting certain integrated graphics cards resulting in a regression in performance for some players.

🌼 The Paisley Bandana no longer disappears when swimming in certain directions.
🌼 The player no longer clips below Reina’s nightstand.
Fixed capitalization issues in certain letters.

🌼 Balor and Elsie no longer have a conversation while in separate areas.

Music in the Mines Entry room no longer stops and restarts at 8pm.
❌ Crash Fixes
🌼 Applying wallpaper no longer crashes the game.
🌼 The Unusual Tree Part 1 scene on Spring 2 no longer crashes the game.
Riding the Mistmare no longer occasionally crashes the game.
🌼 Players experiencing a rare crash when starting a game on a new day will now be able to progress.
